Understanding Canadian Laws and Your
Legal Rights
This workshop introduces newcomers to
Canada's legal system and explains the rights and responsibilities that apply
to everyone living in Canada. Participants will learn about the rule of law,
the justice system, interactions with police, and how Canadian laws protect
individuals regardless of their immigration status.
The Canadian Charter of Rights and
Freedoms
Participants will gain an understanding of
the fundamental rights and freedoms guaranteed under the Canadian Charter of

Human Rights in Canada
This workshop examines federal and provincial
